Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton is now a married woman.
Bill and Hillary's little girl married to her longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky, along the Hudson River in Rhinebeck, N.Y.
The Clinton family announced in an e-mail statement, "Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts. We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together."
The interfaith ceremony included elements from both the Jewish and Christian traditions. Marc is Jewish, and Chelsea is Methodist.
Most of the guests were friends of the bride and groom, who knew each other as teenagers and both went to Stanford University.
(Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright was there, along with longtime friends actors Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen.)

Vera Wang won the competition for Chelsea Clinton's wedding dress.
For Chelsea's custom gown, Vera came up with a dress fit for a fairytale. There were tiers of white tulle under a hand-stitched organza overlay. It was complemented with a jewel-encrusted waist.
A floor-length veil followed Chelsea as her farther Bill escorted her down the aisle. Wang was at the ceremony as a guest.

Lindsay Lohan was released from jail early today and was expected to go straight to rehab facility.
The 24-year-old troubled actress served 13 days of her 90-day sentence. She had been in jail since July 20 after violating her probation in two DUI cases.
Lohan will not be going to rehab on the beach (at Morningside Recovery), but to another rehab facility in the West Los Angeles area--because the Judge was worried that the actress might have access to drugs from the public.
TMZ.com reported that Lohan will check in to a rehab program at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
About two dozen members of the media were at the jail in Lynwood waiting to see if Lohan would be released.
(Lohan was sentenced to serve time after violating her probation. She was supposed to make weekly appearances at an alcohol education program following two DUI cases.)
Lohan will have served less than two weeks of her 90-day sentence. Because she is a nonviolent offender serving time on a misdemeanor, officials said she would likely serve only a fraction of her sentence due to jail overcrowding.

RUMOR: Lindsay Lohan May Be Replaced?
Filming was supposed to begin in August, but with Lindsay set for 90-day rehab stint. word is the Lindsay could be replaced by Sarah Scott.
Scott had guest-starring roles on True Blood, Medium, Arrested Development and Nip/Tuck, but this film would mark her first starring role. She is rumored to have met with the film’s producers over the weekend.

Snooki was arrested on Friday in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi the “Jersey Shore” star was on the beach and acting disorderly. She had been seen at the beach earlier in the day drinking Coke out of a beer bong.
Other witnessess say, Snooki had been boozing with pals in bars along the Jersey Shore beach earlier in the day and was spotted drinking tequila shots and Long Island iced teas by lunchtime.
She was arrested for disorderly conduct and was booked into jail and released later in the day.
Heidi Montag officially filed for divorce from husband Spencer Pratt.
“The Hills” star filed for divorce on Friday in court in Santa Monica, California and cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason.
The couple married in April of last year on the MTV reality show but split in May. She filed for legal separation in June.

MTV's "Jersey Shore" season 2 premiere was the top cable telecast of 2010 with viewers aged 12 to 34.
About 5.3 million viewers tuned in Thursday night, making it MTV's best season premiere since the season 2 launch of "The Osbournes" in 2002.

MTV's "Laguna Beach" contributed to a rise in crime in the real Laguna Beach.
Researchers from Occidental College analyzed crime statistics from 2004 to 2006, when the reality series was on the air. The researchers found that non-residential burglaries and rapes posted steady increases every year the show was on the air.
NOTE: The same crime increases didn't rise in nearby Dana Point, which is similar to Laguna Beach in nearly every demographic.
The "Laguna Beach effect" came out to an additional 50 burglaries every month and an extra rape about every three months.
The rise is "statistically significant. Residents have to wonder if they should have kept their town's doors closed when MTV came calling."
