ACTRESS BRITTNANY MURPHY PASSED AWAY. CRAZY...

Actress Brittany Murphy died yesterday morning after suffering cardiac arrest at her home in Los Angeles. She was 32.

The Coroner's Office announced that Brittany died in the hospital.

A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman told TMZ that a 911 call was made from a home belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack yesterday morning. Brittany was pronounced dead upon arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

NATURAL CAUSES?

Brittany Murphy's sudden death is under investigation by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office, which will conduct an autopsy "as soon as possible."

No cause of death has yet been determined, but according to the coroner's Capt, "Foul play is not suspected at this time because there were no outward signs of trauma or other injuries."

Brittany became a star after parts in "Clueless", "8 Mile," "Just Married," "Girl, Interrupted," "Sin City" and "Riding In Cars With Boys."

When paramedics got to her home, they found her in full cardiac arrest and started CPR.

They rushed Brittany to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and she was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Just after the news, Brittany's ex-boyfriend, Ashton Kutcher, paid tribute to her on Twitter.

He wrote: "Today the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out to Brittany's family, her husband, and her amazing mother Sharon. See you on the other side kid."

The Jonas Brothers raised $300,000 for their Change for the Children Foundation in 2009 Folks. They also work with Bayer Diabetes Care to help spread awareness about the condition.

Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Dave Matthews, Bette Midler, Larry David, Alec Baldwin, and Bruce Springsteen also made the list, but it was the Grateful Dead who gave back the most in 2009. The band raised $400,000 for charity and even gave away tickets for their spring tour.

Taylor Swift recently donated $250,000 to schools that she's either gone to or worked with around the country. The money will be used to pay teachers, buy books, and create educational programs.

Nick Jonas finally explained why he chose to record a solo album without his brothers Kevin and Joe.

Kevin spent some time with his fiancé. I decided to go and make a side-project with four musicians that I had met and worked with before."

Lady GaGa talked about working with Beyoncé on the video for B's song "Video Phone".

She said: "When I was doing her video with her, she called me and she said, 'What do you want to do?' And I said, 'I don't want to show up in some frickin' hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video.' I said, 'I want to do you.' I wanted to do my version of Beyoncé. So the whole time I was learning the choreography they were calling me Gee-yoncé."

A picture from the video shoot showed Gaga wearing a white strapless leotard with matching opera gloves and her long hair is flowing, which looks definitely more like Beyoncé than Gaga.

GaGa also hinted that she and Beyonce are working on music together. She said:

A former writer for David Letterman said one reason why she quit his talk show (on NBC) in 1990, was because of sexual favoritism and a hostile work environment.

Nell Scovell explains her situation for Vanity Fair online. She said she had no intention of filing a lawsuit and wasn't seeking revenge.

She "wanted to shine a light on gender inequality in that particular workplace,"

Scovell said Letterman didn't "hit on her" during her roughly five-month stint with NBC's "Late Night with David Letterman".

She says, "Did he pay me enough extra attention that it was noted by another writer? Yes. Was I aware of rumors that Dave was having sexual relationships with female staffers? Yes".

She alleges that other high-level male employees were having sexual relationships with female staffers as well, and the women benefited professionally, from those relationships.

She writes, "Did that make me feel demeaned? Completely. Did I say anything at the time? Sadly, no".

Hulk Hogan is coming out of retirement to join TNA Wrestling (that's "Total Nonstop Action")... the outfit behind Spike TV's Thursday night series "TNA Impact."

The 56 year-old says, "My fans have been asking me to return to the business for many years on a full time basis, but the timing or the opportunity has never been right until now."

His specific role will be "announced in the near future."

For years Hogan was the best-known performer for World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling (WWF eventually purchased WCW and became World Wrestling Entertainment).

Hogan had a fairly successful VH1 reality series, "Hogan Knows Best," which concluded in 2007. Then he co-hosted NBC's revival of "American Gladiators."

THE PERSON FORMERLY KNOWN AS CHER'S DAUGHTER, HAS "STARTED SHAVING"

Cher's former daughter Chastity Bono chats about the sex-change procedure which will officially transform a she into a 'he': Chaz Bono.

Bono underwent months of gender reassignment treatment at the beginning of last year.

Chaz now speaks in a deeper tone and says hormones have already started to change his body.

In a new interview with news show Entertainment Tonight, which will debut on tomorrow (Thursday), Chaz says he felt like a male from "the time I was a child," and adds he's really beginning to live like a guy.

According to the cops in Hollywood, a group of rich reform-school girls went on a yearlong, A-list crime spree.

The girls allegedly ripped off millions in cash and jewels from Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and other celebs.

The teens had a simple strategy: they looked up their celebrity targets' addresses, property images and schedules on the Internet to plot their heists.

The jobs include:

• A $2 million jewelry heist at Hilton's home... the front door was left open.
• A break-in at Lohan's place where $128,000 in cash and designer clothes were stolen.
• A burglary at Orlando Bloom's pad, where some $500,000 in jewels and art were taken.
• And the heist at Audrina Patridge's house, where $43,000 in jewels was stolen.
• They are also being eyed in burglaries at the homes of Rachel Bilson of "The O.C." and Hayden Panettiere of "Heroes."

The gang's alleged mastermind is an 18-year-old girl (Rachel Lee). She's been busted and cops found a bunch of stuff at her house that is linked to the crimes: Lohan's hat, Bilson's jeans and "partially nude photographs linked to Paris Hilton."

Three other teens have been busted as well, but they have not been formally charged.

Witnesses saw Leona running out with her hand over her eye and the man on the floor. Security was all over him and he was just laughing. (He waited in line for 5 hours.)

In a statement, the Waterstones said: "There was an incident at our Leona Lewis signing this afternoon and the event was immediately stopped. We are now doing everything we can to support the police."

Leona was at the store to sign copies of her new autobiography, "Dreams", which is due to be released next month.

Leona's spokesman said: "The police were called immediately and medical attention has been sought. Leona's understandably badly shaken and apologizes to the fans she was unable to meet and complete signings for."

The track is featured on her album, "The Singles Collection," which drops November 24th.

"3" is the first title to debut at No. 1 since Taylor Hicks' "Do I Make You Proud" did in 2006. In fact, the last four songs to open at No. 1 were all "American Idol"-related. Carrie Underwood's "Inside Your Heaven" (2005), "I Believe" by Fantasia (2004) and Clay Aiken's "This Is The Night".

A rep for Dr. Phil released a statement denying a woman's claim that he held her captive in his offices, forcing her to stare at a naked man and grabbing her breast.

The statement reads:

LETTERMAN'S OLD LADY DRAGGED AN APOLOGY OUT OF HIM

After David Letterman's surprise announcement last Thursday that he enjoyed sexcapades with female staffers... the "Late Show" host's wife, Regina Lasko, demanded Letterman's second public apology on Monday.

That night, Letterman addressed his wife, saying said she had been "horribly hurt by my behavior" and stated flatly that his affairs "are in the past."

He promised to repair his relationship with her.

A source close to Letterman's wife told FOXNews.com that the Monday apology "wasn't something Dave wanted to do at all."

"He wanted the whole thing to blow over. But Regina told him he better make an apology to let everyone know how sorry he was for how much he hurt and humiliated her."

The source says she demanded that he go over with her exactly what he was going to tell viewers and studio audience members on Monday. She was even willing to allow him to make "one or two jokes to be a part of it as long as they weren't at her expense."

But she was not laughing when Letterman took her concession too far, throwing in more than the agreed-upon one or two wisecracks about his affairs.

The source says, "Regina felt like Dave's humorous take on the apology lessened the sincerity of it, and she's not happy at all".

Chris Brown started his community labor sentence yesterday in Virginia.
Chris wore a reflective vest and a red cap and was cleaning the grounds in and around a police horse stable. It's all part of his six-month sentence.
Before going to do his job, Chris went on Twitter and wrote: "On my way to community service."
Chris' sentence will also include graffiti removal, washing cars, and cleaning and maintaining other grounds.

Nine weeks prior to the film's Nov. 20 release, MovieTickets is reporting more than a dozen "New Moon" performances as complete sellouts.
A Fandango spokesman said "New Moon" represents 57% of its recent ticket sales, with sellouts at 50 locations.

Beyonce' To The Rescue!
While accepting the Moonman for video of the year, Beyoncé Knowles invited Taylor Swift onto the stage so she could finish her speech, which West interrupted when she beat out Knowles on the night's first category.

Beyonce said, "This is amazing. I remember being 17-years-old, up for my first MTV award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments of my life, so I would like for Taylor to come out and have her moment."

Taylor Swift came out and said, "Maybe we can try this again." She continued, thanking "all my fans on Twitter and MySpace and everyone who came out to my shows this summer."

Swift later told reporters, "It was so wonderful and gracious of her. She's always been a great person and I thought I couldn't love Beyoncé more and tonight happened and it was just wonderful."

MJ TRIBUTE
Madonna gave a speech about her relationship with Michael Jackson. She also spoke about the negative publicity that dogged him in his later years.

Madonna said, "Sometimes, we have to lose things before we can truly appreciate them".

"Yes, Michael Jackson was a human being, but yes, he was a king. Long live the king."

The musical tribute began afterward, as Jackson clones dressed in some of his signature outfits recreated his famous dance moves from videos like "Bad," "Smooth Criminal" and "Thriller."

Then, as his duet with Janet, "Scream", appeared on a large screen, his sister came out to recreate the moves from their only video together. Afterward, she looked up (to heaven), and bowed.

Reality TV starlet Audrina Patridge wants a restraining order against a fan who showed up at her door with a stash of disturbing poems, letters, drawings and postcards.

"The Hills" hottie claims she the man (Zachory Loring) showed up on her front porch last month and handed her a sketch of a woman being strangled... among other items.

Audrina says the man is a threat to her life and she wants him kept away from her.

Her brother Mark is also requesting protection from the fan.

Audrina claims her neighbours spotted the man on her property when she was not at home.

Surveillance tape footage suggested he spent seven hours outside her home, muttering to himself. He returned another day, wearing a suit and tie. The police were called and he was arrested.

The Los Angeles Police Department's threat management unit is investigating the case.

The "Gossip Girl" star and the Sports Illustrated model were spotted sharing an intimate moment while partying Friday night at New York hotspot 1Oak.
Crawford and Rafaeli were "dancing on each other, swaying their hips together from side to side" while Jay-Z's new hit song, "Run This Town," was playing.
A spy says, "At one point, Bar reached down and grabbed Chace's backside. They were very affectionate with each other. Bar and Chace have been spending a lot of time together since Bar is town and attending NY Fashion Week events."
Crawford was most recently caught making out with "Twilight" cutie Ashley Greene in Los Angeles.
Rafaeli called it quits with Leonardo DiCaprio in June and was most recently linked to multi-millionaire Teddy Sagi.

Tom Brady says his wife Gisele Bundchen is due in December.
In an interview on ESPN’s “SportsCenter” the New England Patriots quarterback confirmed for the first time that the couple is expecting their first baby.
He adds that he isn’t nervous because his super model wife will have to do all the work.
But he says he will be there to support her.

Colin Farrell is having another baby.
The Irish actor says that he and girlfriend Alicja Bachleda are expecting their first child together. (He told reporters at the Toronto Film Festival on Saturday evening.)

Farrell and the Polish actress began dating earlier this year.

This will be the second child for the him. He has a 5-year-old son, James, with model Kim Bordenave.
'PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 4' GETS OFFICIAL TITLE [2009-09-14 01:00:00]
The fourth "Pirates" flick from Disney will be titled Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
The film is due out in summer 2011, with Johnny Depp returning as Captain Jack Sparrow.
The first three Pirates hits were titled Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End.
As previously reported, Depp will also play Tonto in an upcoming big-screen adaptation of "The Lone Ranger."
TAYLOR SWIFT MTV-VMA DRAMA IN OUR TV TAKES SECTION [2009-09-14 01:00:00]
Taylor Swift performed last night (after the drama on stage with Kanye West) at the MTV Video Music Awards.
And she plans to add six previously unreleased tracks to an expanded version of her Fearless album set to arrive on Oct. 27.
Swift's television schedule also includes her first appearance on ABC's "The View" tomorrow (Tuesday). She'll be interviewed and perform two songs during the telecast.
The Fearless Platinum Edition is a CD/DVD package containing new music and video extras, including her "Thug Story" collaboration with T-Pain that premiered earlier this year on the CMT Music Awards.

It features behind-the-scenes videos from her current tour and photos taken by her brother, Austin K. Swift. The new audio tracks are "Jump Then Fall," "Untouchable," "Come in With the Rain," "SuperStar," "The Other Side of the Door" and a piano version of "Forever & Always."
