Nick Jonas finally explained why he chose to record a solo album without his brothers Kevin and Joe.

Nick said: "About six months ago, the three of us had a two-week break from touring, and we all decided to go and do something that was on our hearts. Joe went on a trip to Australia and New Zealand. Kevin spent some time with his fiancé. I decided to go and make a side-project with four musicians that I had met and worked with before."

"I would say the album is 'heart and soul', because the music that I make is from my heart, and the lyrics I write are from my soul. My brothers and I couldn't be more excited to have these amazing opportunities as a group, and as individuals. We are already planning another world tour as the Jonas Brothers next summer, and it is all thanks to our amazing fans."

Lady GaGa talked about working with Beyoncé on the video for B's song "Video Phone".

She said: "When I was doing her video with her, she called me and she said, 'What do you want to do?' And I said, 'I don't want to show up in some frickin' hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video.' I said, 'I want to do you.' I wanted to do my version of Beyoncé. So the whole time I was learning the choreography they were calling me Gee-yoncé."

A picture from the video shoot showed Gaga wearing a white strapless leotard with matching opera gloves and her long hair is flowing, which looks definitely more like Beyoncé than Gaga.

A former writer for David Letterman said one reason why she quit his talk show (on NBC) in 1990, was because of sexual favoritism and a hostile work environment.

Nell Scovell explains her situation for Vanity Fair online. She said she had no intention of filing a lawsuit and wasn't seeking revenge.

She "wanted to shine a light on gender inequality in that particular workplace,"

Scovell said Letterman didn't "hit on her" during her roughly five-month stint with NBC's "Late Night with David Letterman".

She says, "Did he pay me enough extra attention that it was noted by another writer? Yes. Was I aware of rumors that Dave was having sexual relationships with female staffers? Yes".

She alleges that other high-level male employees were having sexual relationships with female staffers as well, and the women benefited professionally, from those relationships.

She writes, "Did that make me feel demeaned? Completely. Did I say anything at the time? Sadly, no".

Hulk Hogan is coming out of retirement to join TNA Wrestling (that's "Total Nonstop Action")... the outfit behind Spike TV's Thursday night series "TNA Impact."

The 56 year-old says, "My fans have been asking me to return to the business for many years on a full time basis, but the timing or the opportunity has never been right until now."

His specific role will be "announced in the near future."

For years Hogan was the best-known performer for World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling (WWF eventually purchased WCW and became World Wrestling Entertainment).

Hogan had a fairly successful VH1 reality series, "Hogan Knows Best," which concluded in 2007. Then he co-hosted NBC's revival of "American Gladiators."

THE PERSON FORMERLY KNOWN AS CHER'S DAUGHTER, HAS "STARTED SHAVING"

Cher's former daughter Chastity Bono chats about the sex-change procedure which will officially transform a she into a 'he': Chaz Bono.

Bono underwent months of gender reassignment treatment at the beginning of last year.

Chaz now speaks in a deeper tone and says hormones have already started to change his body.

In a new interview with news show Entertainment Tonight, which will debut on tomorrow (Thursday), Chaz says he felt like a male from "the time I was a child," and adds he's really beginning to live like a guy.

He says: "I shave about once a week now."

According to the cops in Hollywood, a group of rich reform-school girls went on a yearlong, A-list crime spree.

The girls allegedly ripped off millions in cash and jewels from Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and other celebs.

The teens had a simple strategy: they looked up their celebrity targets' addresses, property images and schedules on the Internet to plot their heists.

The jobs include:

• A $2 million jewelry heist at Hilton's home... the front door was left open.
• A break-in at Lohan's place where $128,000 in cash and designer clothes were stolen.
• A burglary at Orlando Bloom's pad, where some $500,000 in jewels and art were taken.
• And the heist at Audrina Patridge's house, where $43,000 in jewels was stolen.
• They are also being eyed in burglaries at the homes of Rachel Bilson of "The O.C." and Hayden Panettiere of "Heroes."

The gang's alleged mastermind is an 18-year-old girl (Rachel Lee). She's been busted and cops found a bunch of stuff at her house that is linked to the crimes: Lohan's hat, Bilson's jeans and "partially nude photographs linked to Paris Hilton."

Three other teens have been busted as well, but they have not been formally charged.

Justin Timberlake was given a restraining order against an "obsessed and mentally unstable stalker".

The order banned a 48-year-old woman from Justin's property one day after she was taken into protective psychiatric custody for trespassing.

Justin doesn't personally know or have any relationship with the woman. It was the third time she had shown up to his house. During a trip in June, the five foot, six inch 215 pound woman left a "bizarre" note for Justin.

The woman now has to stay at least 100 yards away from Justin, his home and his car.

Reality TV dad Jon Gosselin is finally admitting to ripping off funds from his and Kate's joint bank account.

Police arrested a man after he punched Leona Lewis at a book signing in London.

Police were called to Waterstones book store at Piccadilly, London, but Leona didn't need treatment.

She had been signing autographs for about 90 minutes when a guy came up and punched her on the side of the head.

Witnesses saw Leona running out with her hand over her eye and the man on the floor. Security was all over him and he was just laughing. (He waited in line for 5 hours.)

In a statement, the Waterstones said: "There was an incident at our Leona Lewis signing this afternoon and the event was immediately stopped. We are now doing everything we can to support the police."

Leona was at the store to sign copies of her new autobiography, "Dreams", which is due to be released next month.

Leona's spokesman said: "The police were called immediately and medical attention has been sought. Leona's understandably badly shaken and apologizes to the fans she was unable to meet and complete signings for."

Leona's album, "Echo", drops next month.

BRITNEY SPEARS WILL HAVE ANOTHER NO. 1 SINGLE TODAY [2009-10-15 01:00:00]

Britney Spears will become the first artist in over three years to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with her new single, "3".

The track is featured on her album, "The Singles Collection," which drops November 24th.

"3" is the first title to debut at No. 1 since Taylor Hicks' "Do I Make You Proud" did in 2006. In fact, the last four songs to open at No. 1 were all "American Idol"-related. Carrie Underwood's "Inside Your Heaven" (2005), "I Believe" by Fantasia (2004) and Clay Aiken's "This Is The Night".

The last non-"Idol" song to open at No. 1 was Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop (That Thing)" in 1998.

"3" is Spears' third Hot 100 No. 1.

"...Baby One More Time" spent two weeks at No. 1 in 1999 and "Womanizer" spent a week at the top a year ago this week.

KATY PERRY AND RUSSELL BRAND HAVE PICKED OUT THEIR SPECIAL SONG

Russell Brand have picked out a special song to honor their relationship.

Katy has said that Russell has been teaching her about Morrissey and that they've chosen one his 1995 song, "Whatever Happens, I Love You" as theirs.

The song is so important to Russell that he's getting the chorus tattooed on an intimate part of his body.

The lyrics go: "Cold loving prose/We stole each other's clothes/ But when all is said and done/It's you I love."

LADY GAGA TALKS ABOUT THE HER "THE FAME MONSTER" ALBUM [2009-10-09 01:00:00]

Lady GaGa announced that she's going to be releasing "The Fame Monster", which is a re-issue of her debut album, "The Fame".

The album will include the entire "The Fame" set, along with eight new songs.

It drops November 24th.

Lady Gaga said: "On my re-release 'The Fame Monster', I wrote about everything I didn't write on 'The Fame'. DR. PHIL SAYS HE DIDN'T TOUCH ANY BOOBS... (BESIDES HIS OWN)

A rep for Dr. Phil released a statement denying a woman's claim that he held her captive in his offices, forcing her to stare at a naked man and grabbing her breast.

The statement reads:

"All of Shirley Rae Dieu's claims are without merit. As with all of the occupants of the DR. PHIL House, Ms. Dieu participated voluntarily, having submitted her personal story with the hope that she could confront, and overcome, her individual issues.

"Ms. Dieu filed a claim with the Los Angeles Police Department some 9 months after the incident, which was investigated and ultimately not pursued by the Los
Angeles City Attorney. All guests of the show are treated with dignity and respect and the show stands by the manner in which she was handled while participating on the show."

The woman is suing Dr. Phil for an unspecified amount of money.

LETTERMAN'S OLD LADY DRAGGED AN APOLOGY OUT OF HIM

After David Letterman's surprise announcement last Thursday that he enjoyed sexcapades with female staffers... the "Late Show" host's wife, Regina Lasko, demanded Letterman's second public apology on Monday.

That night, Letterman addressed his wife, saying said she had been "horribly hurt by my behavior" and stated flatly that his affairs "are in the past."

He promised to repair his relationship with her.

A source close to Letterman's wife told FOXNews.com that the Monday apology "wasn't something Dave wanted to do at all."

"He wanted the whole thing to blow over. But Regina told him he better make an apology to let everyone know how sorry he was for how much he hurt and humiliated her."

The source says she demanded that he go over with her exactly what he was going to tell viewers and studio audience members on Monday. She was even willing to allow him to make "one or two jokes to be a part of it as long as they weren't at her expense."

But she was not laughing when Letterman took her concession too far, throwing in more than the agreed-upon one or two wisecracks about his affairs.

The source says, "Regina felt like Dave's humorous take on the apology lessened the sincerity of it, and she's not happy at all".
