Katy Perry has been named the hottest woman alive by Maxim, on its Hot 100 List.
The mag adds that the 25-year-old “is the best friend you suddenly realize you’ve loved your whole life. The rad chick who taught you how to skateboard and whistle and also looks unbelievable in a bikini.”
Last year’s #1 girl Olivia Wilde took dropped to #20, this year.

Before sitting down with the cast of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse for The Oprah Winfrey Show, Oprah and the gang went over the questions she was going to ask them.
Oprah wanted Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart to know that she would ask them if they are (in fact) dating as blogs have been speculating for months. Oprah told the two she wouldn't press too hard on the dating question during the interview as long as "they told her [off camera] what was really going on."
A source who was at the taping says, "Both Rob and Kristen's people and Summit [Entertainment] then confirmed ahead of time [Rob and Kristen] are together and are dating. One hundred percent."
When asked the question, Pattinson and Stewart were told they "could totally give the coy nonanswer answer.... (Rob joked Kristen was pregnant, Kristen joked Rob was having the baby).... and [Oprah] wouldn't press it too hard on air. "
COUNTRY MUSIC STARS STEP UP, FOR NASHVILLE FLOOD VICTIMS [2010-05-10 01:00:00]
The music cable network GAC will air a telethon this coming Sunday, May 16 to help victims of the flooding. It'll include Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Rodney Atkins and other stars. It'll be live from the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
(Tickets are set to go on sale on today at 10 a.m. via www.ryman.com and www.opry.com, 1–800-SEE-OPRY and the Ryman box office.)
All funds raised at the event will be donated to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
BTW: The charity event put on by local Nashville television station WSMV raised over $1.7 million for flood relief on May 6. It was hosted by Vince Gill and featured performances by Keith Urban, Alison Krauss, Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, Billy Dean, Lonestar, Lee Roy Parnell, Larry Gatlin, Bryan White, Steve Wariner, Lorrie Morgan and others.
RELATED: Darius Rucker will lead a fund-raiser tomorrow (Tuesday) in Nashville. This private event was already planned by the Grammy people as a kind of meet-and-greet for the recording industry. Now, it's become a fundraiser for the newly established MusiCares Nashville Flood Relief Fund.
Not every musician is a superstar so money raised helps local Nashville musicians in need. Steel Magnolia and others also will perform.

La Toya Jackson is on video criticizing Michael Jackson's pal Dr. Arnold Klein and alleged MJ lover Jason Pfeiffer, claiming they are lying about the reported affair.
MEANTIME: Michael Jackson's former bodyguards are shopping a book, "In Defense of the King," about their three years working with the King of Pop.
They were interviewed by ABC in March, and will sit down for another chat with the network to air in June. They will discuss Jackson's financial troubles and try to kill rumors that Michael was gay.
The bodyguards say Jackson had two girlfriends toward the end of his life. One was called "Friend" and spoke with a European accent.

Christina Aguilera was on with Oprah on Friday to talk about life as a mother and her upcoming album, "Bionic."
Christina told Oprah: "I like to take time between records and just live life for a moment, just gather my thoughts, my inspiration, and figure out what the next record is going to be. I just take those moments to live life so I can be even more inspired as an artist."
As for being a mom, she said: "I think as women, our bodies go through such amazing things, and we are superhuman. We give life, we give birth, we are our child's source of everything. Our bodies are not our own for a time period, and we givingly and willingly do so for our child. But then when we get them back, you feel that much stronger and that much better and more confident. Sure, I have a difference in my body than before, but I'm more confident in that."
After chatting with Oprah, Christina performed her new single, "Not Myself Tonight."

Lady Gaga is getting some heat from bosses at an underwear company after she never returned four "priceless" items of lingerie.
Rigby and Peller sent Gaga seven pieces so she could wear them in a music video. But when Gaga returned the stuff, she only sent three of the seven pieces.
The missing pieces of lingerie are prototypes for their 2010 fall/winter collection. Without them, production on the clothing line could be delayed.
A spokesperson for the company told the UK's Daily Express: "Obviously we were delighted that Lady Gaga wanted to use our new pieces in her next video but we did stress we needed them back in plenty of time for our press show. They are handmade, unique designs, simply priceless and not available anywhere in the world so we are really disappointed not to get them back for our major showcase of the year."
