KATY PERRY PERFORMING AT THE 2010 MTV MOVIE AWARDS
Katy Perry will perform at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards.
She'll sing "California Gurls," the first single off her new album, "Teenage Dream".
Katy said: "I'm proud to represent the West Coast at the MTV Movie Awards in the magical glow of the Hollywood sign with my new single 'California Gurls.' I hope it will be the theme song to a lot of summer loving; I know it will in my house!"
The 2010 Movie Awards air on Sunday, June 6th at 9 pm Eastern Time.

"Glee" creator Ryan Murphy hinted that he is talking to Britney Spears about a possible episode dedicated to her music.
He said: "We love Britney, we're talking to Britney. I think you have to be very careful on the show not to do too many tribute episodes. but she certainly has a huge body of work to pull from and the kids grew up with her so that is a consideration, they love her. "

Chris Daughtry is going to be a proud dad of twins--through a surrogate.
Chris went on his website to announce that he and wife Deanna are adding two more kids to their clan. They already have two children, Hannah and Griffin.
Chris and Deanna decided to use a surrogate for this pregnancy because Deanna had a partial hysterectomy in 2006.
Chris wrote: "Deanna and I are overjoyed about this double blessing. Thank you for your expressions of love and support and for respecting for our privacy during this special time."

80-year-old Barbara Walters sent a message to her fans on The View Monday.
Her longtime friend (hair stylist Bryant Renfroe) relayed a personal message from Barbara on her condition, after doctors replaced a faulty heart valve last week.
He said, “She got nice messages from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and even Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. And she appreciates all the good wishes from everybody..."
