CHRIS BROWN BEGINS HIS COMMUNITY LABOR SENTENCE


Chris Brown started his community labor sentence yesterday in Virginia.
Chris wore a reflective vest and a red cap and was cleaning the grounds in and around a police horse stable. It's all part of his six-month sentence.
Before going to do his job, Chris went on Twitter and wrote: "On my way to community service."
Chris' sentence will also include graffiti removal, washing cars, and cleaning and maintaining other grounds.

Advance tickets sales for the sequel vampire romance "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" are going so well that online tickers are starting to report sellouts of the earliest showtimes at many locations.
Nine weeks prior to the film's Nov. 20 release, MovieTickets is reporting more than a dozen "New Moon" performances as complete sellouts.
A Fandango spokesman said "New Moon" represents 57% of its recent ticket sales, with sellouts at 50 locations.
By comparison, the coming weekend's anticipated No. 1 pic -- "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" -- is the next most popular choice of purchasers at 9% of all Fandango sales.

Abercrombie & Fitch is suing Beyonce because they feel her new fragrance breaks trademark laws.
Abercrombie is claiming that B's "Sasha Fierce" perfume has a resemblance to the store's "Fierce" brand.
The store said that the confusion could cause the store to lose control of the trademark it has used since 2002 and to lose money as well.
Beyonce's perfume is set to go on sale in early 2010.

Rapper Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video at MTV's "2009 Video Music Awards," because he felt that Beyonce's music video should have won the moon man.

Kanye grabbed the mic from the Swift and said, "Taylor, I'm really happy for you, and I'm gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time".

The crowd began to boo West.

Taylor Swift didn't finish her speech, but the crowd applauded her anyway. She later performed "You Belong to Me" in a subway station.

While accepting the Moonman for video of the year, Beyoncé Knowles invited Taylor Swift onto the stage so she could finish her speech, which West interrupted when she beat out Knowles on the night's first category.

Beyonce said, "This is amazing. I remember being 17-years-old, up for my first MTV award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments of my life, so I would like for Taylor to come out and have her moment."

Taylor Swift came out and said, "Maybe we can try this again." She continued, thanking "all my fans on Twitter and MySpace and everyone who came out to my shows this summer."

Swift later told reporters, "It was so wonderful and gracious of her. She's always been a great person and I thought I couldn't love Beyoncé more and tonight happened and it was just wonderful."

MJ TRIBUTE
Madonna gave a speech about her relationship with Michael Jackson. She also spoke about the negative publicity that dogged him in his later years.

Madonna said, "Sometimes, we have to lose things before we can truly appreciate them".

"Yes, Michael Jackson was a human being, but yes, he was a king. Long live the king."

The musical tribute began afterward, as Jackson clones dressed in some of his signature outfits recreated his famous dance moves from videos like "Bad," "Smooth Criminal" and "Thriller."

Then, as his duet with Janet, "Scream", appeared on a large screen, his sister came out to recreate the moves from their only video together. Afterward, she looked up (to heaven), and bowed.

Reality TV starlet Audrina Patridge wants a restraining order against a fan who showed up at her door with a stash of disturbing poems, letters, drawings and postcards.

"The Hills" hottie claims she the man (Zachory Loring) showed up on her front porch last month and handed her a sketch of a woman being strangled... among other items.

Audrina says the man is a threat to her life and she wants him kept away from her.

Her brother Mark is also requesting protection from the fan.

Audrina claims her neighbours spotted the man on her property when she was not at home.

Surveillance tape footage suggested he spent seven hours outside her home, muttering to himself. He returned another day, wearing a suit and tie. The police were called and he was arrested.

The Los Angeles Police Department's threat management unit is investigating the case.

The fourth "Pirates" flick from Disney will be titled Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
The film is due out in summer 2011, with Johnny Depp returning as Captain Jack Sparrow.
The first three Pirates hits were titled Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End.
As previously reported, Depp will also play Tonto in an upcoming big-screen adaptation of "The Lone Ranger."

Taylor Swift performed last night (after the drama on stage with Kanye West) at the MTV Video Music Awards.
And she plans to add six previously unreleased tracks to an expanded version of her Fearless album set to arrive on Oct. 27.
Swift's television schedule also includes her first appearance on ABC's "The View" tomorrow (Tuesday). She'll be interviewed and perform two songs during the telecast.
The Fearless Platinum Edition is a CD/DVD package containing new music and video extras, including her "Thug Story" collaboration with T-Pain that premiered earlier this year on the CMT Music Awards.

Chris Brown told Larry King that he doesn't remember beating Rihanna but that he still loves his former girlfriend.
He said: "I never fell out of love with her. That just wouldn't go away."
He also told Larry that he is still in shock about his actions. The interview airs tomorrow on CNN.
Chris said: "When I look at it now, it's just like, wow, like, I can't believe that that actually happened."
Chris pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to five years of probation, a year of domestic violence counseling and six months of community labor. He will serve his sentence in his home state of Virginia.
Chris Brown Now Says He DOES Remember Hitting Rihanna
After reports came out that Chris Brown didn't remember hitting Rihanna the night he attacked her, he released a statement to clear things up.
Chris said: "There have been reports on the Internet that I didn't remember what happened that night with Rihanna. I want to try and set things straight. That 30 seconds of the interview they used of me was taken from a one hour interview during which that same question was asked something like four or five times and when you look at the entire interview you will see it is not representative of what I said."
"The first four times or however many times it was, I gave the same answer, which was that I didn't think it was appropriate for me to talk about what happened that night. I said it was not right for me and it really wasn't fair to Rihanna. The fifth time or whatever it was I just misspoke. I was asked, 'Do you remember doing it?' and I said, 'No.'"
"Of course I remember what happened. Several times during the interview, my mother said that I came to her right afterwards and told her everything. But it was and still is a blur. And yes, I still can't believe it happened because it is not me or who I am, nor is what happened like anything I have ever done before."
"As I have said several times previously, I am ashamed of and sorry for what happened that night and I wish I could relive that moment and change things, but I can't. I take full responsibility for my actions. What I have to do now is to prove to the world that this was an isolated incident and that is not who I am, and I intend to do so by my behavior now and in the future."

Later on, the 19-year-old student found out from friends that Liam was dating Miley.

Laura tells Woman's Day, "He was my boyfriend and my best friend. There is no other reason why we would have broken up."

Hilton claims that Hallmark violated her privacy and right of publicity by ripping off a scene from her reality TV show "The Simple Life" on a birthday card captioned "Paris's First Day as a Waitress."

A three-judge panel of the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals didn't buy Hallmark's argument that its depiction of the Hilton Hotels heiress was protected speech as a matter of law.

It sent the case back to a lower court, which had turned aside Hilton's claim of trademark infringement but rejected other Hallmark defenses.

DJ AM DEAD...AUTOPSY INCONCLUSIVE, FOR NOW...

Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein was found dead Friday after an apparent overdose. But even with the autopsy done, it's still a mystery as to how he died exactly.

The cause of death was inconclusive because the New York City Medical Examiner needs to do more testing. The testing will include toxicology and tissue testing and there won't be any results for a few weeks.

Police found 36 year old Adam dead in his apartment in Manhattan, New York.

They went to Adam's home after they got a 911 call that he hadn't been seen in two days. A source told People Magazine that prescription drugs and a crack pipe were found in the apartment.

Cops found prescription bottles and the pipe next to Adam on his bed. He was shirtless and only wearing shorts.

Adam had a history of drug abuse but had recently said he had been clean for 11½ years and had been working with other addicts. He recently finished the MTV reality show "Gone Too Far", which helped other addicts find a way to end their addictions.

Everyone remembers that Adam escaped death last year with Travis Barker when their plane crashed. The accident left Adam with serious burns.

Adam's final Tweet quoted lyrics from Grandmaster Flash. They were: "New York, New York. Big city of dreams, but everything in New York ain't always what it seems."

DJ AM had said that his new MTV show, "Gone Too Far", could be his redemption after his own struggles with food and drug addiction.

The show was scheduled to start airing in October and no decision has been made as of yet about the future of the show.

Adam had described the new show as his second chance after surviving a plane crash with Travis Barker.

He said: "There was no reason why I should have lived or that I lived and they didn't. It is something I struggle with every day, just kind of wondering. But I have realized I am never going to know. I am alive. I am here. I have another chance. So I have to do something better with my life this time."

ALSO: In a recent interview with MTV News to promote his upcoming reality show about drug abuse, DJ AM talked about how he bought a crack pipe to show how easy it is.

He said, "I bought a crack pipe ... that was my drug of choice. And I walked out and I'm holding it ... and then I realized after I was holding it that my palms were sweaty and I was like, 'Wait a minute, this is not smart for me to be holding this.'"

Addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky thinks that pain medications led to DJ AM losing his sobriety and ultimately to his death.

Drew said: "It very slowly and subtly reawakens addiction. I'm not saying it was inappropriately prescribed, I'm saying he didn't know the risks."

Dr. Drew thinks that the pain medication Adam took for injuries from his plane crash had something to do with his death. After the crash, he needed two skin graft surgeries and that may have reawakened his addiction to drugs.

FINAL UPDATE FOR MONDAY: DJ AM's Death -- Not a Suicide

TMZ quotes law enforcement sources who say that DJ AM's death was the result of an accidental overdose and not a suicide.

AM was a recovering addict, who developed a dependency to Xanax and other drugs used to treat anxiety (benzodiazepines)... all stemming from the plane crash a year ago.

AM (aka Adam Goldstein) developed a tremendous anxiety over flying -- something he had to do frequently for his job. Doctors began prescribing Xanax and other anti-anxiety medications to relieve his fear, but the drugs triggered a relapse into addiction.

The sources say DJ AM's relapse was "recent" -- he was not abusing for a prolonged period of time before his death.

And the OD had "absolutely nothing to do with his recent breakup."

The sources say the evidence points to a cause of death that will be a combination of crack cocaine and benzodiazepin

In an interview on the “Today” show, Kate Gosselin denied that her hit TLC reality show contributed to the failure of her marriage.
She said that the separation would have happened no matter what.
Kate also said she has no regrets about living her life in front of the cameras.
And the show has given her kids many opportunities they never would have had.
