LOHAN MAY HOST 'SNL' A 4TH TIME... (AS MANY TIMES AS SHE'S BEEN TO REHAB)

Lindsay Lohan may be hosting" Saturday Night Live" for the 4th time, sometime in December.

And sources say this could help her career by showing that she still has talent, regardless of the drama train she's been riding lately.

The 'SNL' rumors surface just a day after Lohan appeared in a taped bit with Chelsea Handler for the MTV VMA's. In it, Lohan pokes fun at herself by accusing Handler of drinking before hosting the show, and yelling at her saying that no one likes to work with a drunk.

Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling have a very steamy, raw sex scene in their new movie, Blue Valentine, out Dec. 31.

And now, Williams is shooting a movie called Take This Waltz, which also requires her to get naked.

The actress tells W magazine: "I have the usual self-loathing and body issues, and yet I seem to be naked in a lot of movies. The nudity has to end somewhere!"

"It would be really nice if the pictures did not get posted online. But then maybe that's a reason to do it: Just get naked, and who cares if it ends up on the Internet."

Of getting naked with Gosling, she says, "We did the sex scenes and it was…toxic. Ryan and I stopped relating to each other as Ryan and Michelle. Those scenes took forever."

And what does Gosling say about the sex scene with Williams? "In real life sex is messy, and we wanted to get under that wonderful messiness."

Lady Gaga told Ellen DeGeneres that her now famous meat dress shouldn't be interpreted as a message against animal rights.

Gaga explained that the meat dress was tied to her protest against the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy and that it was a statement against the governmental restrictions placed on the rights of gay soldiers.

She said: "It's certainly no disrespect to anyone that's vegan or vegetarian. As you know, I'm the most judgment-free human being on the Earth. It has many interpretations, but for me this evening it's saying, 'If we don't stand up for what we believe in, if we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're going to have as much rights as the meat on our bones.' "

Ellen ended the interview by giving Gaga a two-piece and skirt made out of kale, leafy greens and other vegetables. She told Gaga it was for "the next time you want to pose in a bikini somewhere."

As expected PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) released a statement saying: "Wearing a dress made out of cuts of dead cows is offensive enough to bring comment, but someone should whisper in her ear that there are more people who are upset by butchery than who are impressed by it and that means a lot of young people will not be buying her records if she keeps this stuff up."

There's a whole lot of information about Lady Gaga that's about to be revealed in the new biography, "Poker Face: The Rise and Rise of Lady Gaga". The book drops today.

According to RadarOnline.com, there's a part in the book that explains why Gaga canceled her tour with Kanye West last summer.

A source inside Kanye's camp told author Maureen Callahan: "He's a grade-A disaster, a mess. If his name is on it, no one will touch it."

There was also the combination of Ye's VMA stunt with Taylor Swift and one of Gaga's top staffers threatening to quit if she went ahead with the tour. That finally led Gaga to call it off.

The book also describes Gaga as a control freak who has fired over 150 people in the last two years.

Another part of the book talks about Gaga's attraction to a former assistant, who happened to be the wife an ex tour manager.

The book says: "In reality, she wound up sleeping with Gaga more often than her own husband. She says there was nothing sexual about it; Gaga couldn't sleep without someone next to her in bed. Around the time she had been hired, Gaga and her boyfriend had broken up. She kept him on her team, though and kept things as professional as possible. For the most part, she struggled."

"She tried to help. She says she assumed an 'older sister' role with Gaga. They literally would do their make-up together every morning and get ready for bed together at night. They'd also take showers together because they'd have so little time to get out the door in the morning. But it was also, she says, a way to bond."

"The few times she would start go back to her husband, Gaga would spiral. She would ask her husband: 'Can your wife please stay with me tonight?'"
