Miley Cyrus' pole-dancing performance on the Teen Choice Awards has some parents peeved.
The 16 year-old Disney darling was wearing short shorts, and black leather boots, too.
Some say the performance sent the wrong message to her tween-age fans.

The National Enquirer says that Rosie O’Donnell and her wife, Kellie have split up... despite Rosie's rep saying last week that the couple is still together.
The tabloid reports that Kelli moved out of their home months ago and now lives with the couple's youngest daughter in a luxury high-rise condo in New York City that she bought in her own name.
A source says that Rosie is "despondent" over the breakup and is living with the couple's three adopted children at their longtime home in Nyack, New York.
The source adds that they have no immediate plans to make the separation official.

In an interview on the “Today” show, Kate Gosselin denied that her hit TLC reality show contributed to the failure of her marriage.
She said that the separation would have happened no matter what.
Kate also said she has no regrets about living her life in front of the cameras.
And the show has given her kids many opportunities they never would have had.

Just after Kate Gosselin went on the 'Today show,' Jon Gosselin and his supposed tabloid-girlfriend, Kate Major, were set to interview with E! News-- but then Jon cancelled.
Kate Major went on and called her former flame a 'liar' and a 'two timer.'
Major resigned from Star Magazine when she and Jon started dating. She told E! they had plans 'to travel together, to live together and be together.'
She added that while they were at the Hamptons, 'he made the decision to be with her.'
Just last week the reality dad told Kate #2 that his relationship with her was strictly platonic.
Major also revealed that Jon was the one that made her quit her job.
Here are some other details about the interview:
On the Fallout: "It's been a nightmare. I did not want to have to do this...I have to speak. I did not want to have to sell him out but when he makes me look like a liar, a fool and an idiot. I have to speak out."
On His Getting Back With Hailey: "In no way did he tell me he was going to go parade with his ex-girlfriend."
On Moving On: "This whole experience has taught me so much. When I had Jon's support, it was hard. Now that I don't, it's even harder."

Jon Gosselin was asked by E! News to comment about Kate's comments on the 'Today' show, and he said, "Kate's the mother of my children. I only wish her the best."

As for his short-term fling Kate Major—who just called him out as a "liar" and "two-timer"... Jon said, "I'm happy that she's out of my life."

He and a mystery brunette were seen partying late in the night (at Laurel Tavern bar) in Studio City, CA. They were drinking and standing outside chatting before he drove her to an apartment in Sherman Oaks around 1 a.m.
The news comes as reports claim that 'Twilight' co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were dating.

Since a supposed July 29th club altercation, police have not been able to get Mel Gibson to sit for an interview.
The word was, Mel got into an altercation with a guy who tried to snap his picture at a Los Angeles nightclub. But his assistant keeps telling LAPD that he's busy filming.
Cops say they may have to go to the LA County District Attorney's Office and tell them that the actor is not cooperating.
