LINDSAY LOHAN OWES MORE THAN $500,000 IN CREDIT CARD DEBT [2010-04-20 01:00:00]

Lindsay Lohan is now over half a million dollars in debt.

A source says LiLo owes credit cards $600,000 and one card cut her off last week and it's only a matter of time before all her other credit cards cut her off too.

Lohan hasn’t had many acting jobs of late; she makes most of her money from club appearances. But even that is slowing down for her.... and she only gets $5,000 to $10,000 per appearance at most.

Michael Lohan apologized to Dr. Drew after daughter Lindsay called the celeb doc a "quack".

Dr. Drew Pinsky had written: "When I was asked as a father, if I were in Michael Lohan's position, what would I do to help my daughter, I am clear that I would go to any lengths to get her to and retain her in treatment. Bringing legal consequences to bear is often the only alternative."

Michael Lohan responded (to X17online):

"I want to thank him for his kind words and sentiments toward me, and the concern for Lindsay. I also want to apologize for my daughter and her response to his article, as Dr. Drew is anything BUT a quack. I only wish Lindsay admired him and came to understand what he is saying. I absolutely agree that a parent must 'go to ANY length' to save their child, or for that matter, anyone we can.

"And just like Dr. Drew said, it's time to help Lindsay 'RESURRECT' her life and her career. I didn't want to refer to Jesus, But I find it only fitting to state that He too, died to the world of sin, and He too was resurrected.

"Yet, while His death was one of a physical and spiritual nature, Lindsay can also die to sin (addiction) spiritually, be forgiven and resurrected as well. She is blessed, she is gifted, she is talented and she is one of the most caring and loving people I know. In so much, I AM prepared to suffer the consequences, as painful or costly as they may be."

KIM K'S KITTY CONTROVERSY.... (MOST GUYS WON'T EVEN NOTICE...)

Kim Kardashian created a controversy on Twitter, for posting a picture of herself holding a kitten by the scruff of the neck.

While PETA was complaining, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals L.A. said, "It is permissible to hold a kitten by his or her scruff for a brief amount of time". But it warned, "the manner in which Ms. Kardashian is holding the kitten could lead others to mishandle animals."

Kim only held the cat by the scruff for a few seconds -- and did it with the owner and a vet's consent.

LATER, Kim blogged "So yesterday I was doing a photo shoot with an adorable black kitty cat and I Twitpic'd this picture," and says "the owner and vet were on set and showed me how to pick him up. The cat was not harmed in any way and is perfectly fine! I love animals and would never do anything to harm any animals."

Kim Kardashian now says she is sorry she took it all off for Playboy magazine in 2007. Kim tells Harper’s Bizarre her mom Kris Jenner told her to “go for it".

"Jersey Shore" star Snooki has dumped her boyfriend Emilio, for cheating on her.

A source says Snooki "Found out that he was writing messages to girls on Facebook at like 3am and asking them out to try and hook up. He even posted pictures on his page of him with girls wrapped around him.

"Snooki has a lot of self respect and she just won't put up with that behavior."

MILEY CYRUS, ADAM LAMBERT AND USHER CANCEL APPEARANCES BECAUSE OF THE VOLCANIC ASH IN ICELAND

The flight delays in the UK and Europe because of the volcanic ash cloud in Iceland has led to artists cancelling some shows.

Miley Cyrus won't be heading to the UK and the London premiere of her film "The Last Song" was canceled. In the meantime, Selena Gomez is stranded in Europe.

Usher and Adam Lambert weren't able to go on promotional trips in Europe.

And indie band the Features postponed its UK tour until June.
