Today, to celebrate the first anniversary of Michael Jackson's death, thousands of fans are paying tribute to the late King of Pop.
He died last year at the age 50.
In London, a memorial was unveiled at the Lyric Theatre, The theatre was the site of an impromptu wake after MJ died last year. The memorial included a small plaque featuring a young Michael with a wide smile.
In Hong Kong, Michael Jackson imitators performed to his classics at a mall.
Another tribute is planned today in Michael's hometown of Gary, Indiana. There will be a tribute at his and Michael's mother Katherine and his niece Genevieve are expected to show up.
Other close friends and family members like Jackson's brother, Randy are also expected to gather this morning for a private service at Forest Lawn cemetery in Los Angeles, where MJ is buried.
Randy released a statement saying: "My family and I will be in attendance as we mourn the loss of my brother. I would like to thank the fans and friends for their continued love, support, and prayers."
Katherine Jackson is also supporting the "Forever Michael" fan event tomorrow at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
The Apollo Theatre in Harlem is hosting a commemoration of Michael's life in front of a new plaque honoring him in the theater's new hall of fame.
Later in the afternoon, the Rev. Al Sharpton and his National Action Network will hold a moment of silence.
LINDSAY LOHAN MUST ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT DRUG USE
A judge has ordered Lindsay Lohan to say if she used cocaine the night she was arrested in 2007 after a joyride.
Lohan is being sued by the people in the car with her that night.
The judge in the case wants the actress to tell the court if she used cocaine that night but her lawyers says she shouldn’t answer the question due to Fifth Amendment rights.
But the judge says she will have the answer the question no matter what.

Jerry Seinfeld had more words for Lady Gaga the other night when he stepped in as guest commentator during the NY Mets-Detroit game.
He joined announcer Keith Hernandez for 4 1/2 innings. And while there was plenty of baseball talk, Seinfeld also mentioned Gaga, who he called "a jerk" in a radio interview earlier this week for flipping off fans at the ball park.
Seinfeld said, "It's fair to say that we're all big fans of Lady Gaga -- lame, out-of-it white guys in their mid-50s is her core audience.
"But I'm very protective of my Met fans. I love my Met fans and I did not like . . . the finger. It was disrespectful."
Later, Seinfeld called for an apology. He said Gaga "should make a nice apology to the Met fans.

Reggae artist Predator Dub Assassins dropped the details.
He Tweeted: "Co -Writing on a track for Britney Spears featuring Akon. WTF ?! What is gonna happen next?"
Other artists rumored to be helping out Britney on her set include David Guetta, Darkchild, Cisco Adler and Sean Garrett.
No word on when the album will drop.

Lady GaGa is apparently involved in a major feud with her mom and dad. And it's all over her little sister, Natali.
18-year-old Natali just graduated from high school and really wants to follow in her sister's footsteps. But that hasn't gone down too well.
A source told ShowbizSpy: "Natali asked to come along on Gaga's tour as an apprentice, singing backup. But Gaga's parents, Joseph and Cynthia, are worried that Natali will follow in GaGa's workaholic footsteps."
GaGa was in New York on a tour break in June when she and her parents had a very public argument over dinner at a restaurant.
The source said: "GaGa walked out after a screaming match with her dad. Natali was in tears. GaGa is not speaking to her father, and friends are worried that with her main support system shaken, GaGa could wind up an emotional wreck."
