ACTRESS BRITTNANY MURPHY PASSED AWAY. CRAZY...

Actress Brittany Murphy died yesterday morning after suffering cardiac arrest at her home in Los Angeles. She was 32.

The Coroner's Office announced that Brittany died in the hospital.

A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman told TMZ that a 911 call was made from a home belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack yesterday morning. Brittany was pronounced dead upon arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

NATURAL CAUSES?

Brittany Murphy's sudden death is under investigation by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office, which will conduct an autopsy "as soon as possible."

No cause of death has yet been determined, but according to the coroner's Capt, "Foul play is not suspected at this time because there were no outward signs of trauma or other injuries."

Brittany became a star after parts in "Clueless", "8 Mile," "Just Married," "Girl, Interrupted," "Sin City" and "Riding In Cars With Boys."

She also had a hit song with the track "Faster Pussycat Kill," with Paul Oakenfold in 2006. It topped the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart that year. She also sang songs for the animated film "Happy Feet".

It seems that Brittany Murphy was found by her mom unconscious in the shower.

When paramedics got to her home, they found her in full cardiac arrest and started CPR.

They rushed Brittany to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and she was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Just after the news, Brittany's ex-boyfriend, Ashton Kutcher, paid tribute to her on Twitter.

He wrote: "Today the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out to Brittany's family, her husband, and her amazing mother Sharon. See you on the other side kid."

According to TMZ, Brittany Murphy's husband, Simon Monjack, told hospital staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles that he didn't want an autopsy performed on his wife.

The LA County Coroner's Office said that foul play isn't suspected and that some prescriptions were found in the house. Toxicology tests will be done and those results could take up to six weeks.
